Plastiras Lake took its name from Greek general and politician Nikolaos Plastiras who was the first to visualize the construction of an artificial lake in the area. Located in Karditsa region unit (central Greece), the lake is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the winter as well as one of the biggest artificial lakes in Greece. Unfortunately I did not have the time to fully enjoy the area but I know for sure that I will return soon to in order to enjoy the white landscape surrounding the lake.
